The supercomputers are the most powerful data processing machines ever invented. These machines are
capable to perform more than a billion of billion calculations in a second. This gives scientists and
engineers a powerful platform to study the natural world problems and provide the solution in quick time.
For decades, the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology considered as highly energy-efficient
architecture for throughput computing.

The ability of an FPGA to be reconfigured enables it to essentially become a soft ASIC optimized to run a specific workload.
UCERD team has proposed and developed an FPGA-Powered Supercomputer [1]. The Supercomputer uses five Zynq SoCs compute-nodes and an Intel master node. The design system uses message passing interface libraries for the communication between compute-nodes while AXI4-stream interfaces between ARM processor and FPGA inside a compute-node.
